.strathmill - 12yo - flora and fauna

Discontinued a while ago, this is as close as it gets to an official bottling from this distillery. A series started by Diageo  from their own and previously owned distilleries in the early 1990s, ultimately creating a total of 26 bottles in the mid 2000s. Renowned whisky writer Michael Jackson nicknamed the series "Flora and Fauna" because of the images of animals and plants on the labels, and somehow, it stuck. This was bottled in 2005, and although it is a rather unique "official" bottling, you can still find it for a reasonable price.

.glenlossie - 10yo - flora and fauna

From the beautiful 26 bottle counting series of Diageo's Flora and Fauna series, we have found a sample of the Glenlossie. While we were at the distillery, we were poured a sample, and because I was driving that day, I brought it with me for a good note.

.linkwood - 12yo - flora and fauna

From the Linkwood distillery, we have seen a couple of "official" bottlings, although most of what they produce disappears in the Company's J&B and Johnnie Walker blends. This is one of the Flora and Fauna series (there are three, afaik)

.mannochmore - 12yo - flora and fauna

Not the best known single malt amongst the single malt drinkers, but one that is mostly put into blends. Not one to be easily overlooked either, for that same reason. A relatively young distillery too (1971), and probably best known (feared) for their over-coloured "Loch Dhu" whisky.

.auchroisk - 10yo - flora and fauna

The original "singleton of..." brand discontinued a long time ago. This Flora and Fauna bottling of the 10yo Auchroisk is one of the few official bottlings Diageo has released.

.glen elgin - 12 - flora and fauna

At the Glen Elgin distillery, when we visited in 2014, they were kind enough to allow us to explore this 'responsible driving' thing, and let me sample some of the drams they were pouring.

.benrinnes - 15yo - flora and fauna

Possibly sampled at one of the many tours we had at the Spirit of Spirit of Speyside festival 2014. Might have been somewhere else.
