Not the best known single malt amongst the single malt drinkers, but one that is mostly put into blends. Not one to be easily overlooked either, for that same reason. A relatively young distillery too (1971), and probably best known (feared) for their over-coloured "Loch Dhu" whisky.
43% abv, €45
single malt
Nose: very subtle, fresh cut grass, hay
Palate: sweet, hay, herbs, laurel, bitter, uncooked bread, active yeast
Finish: medium long, medium dry, sort of sweet, grass
Mark: +++++
Conclusion: Simple, rather boring. A typical blend filler imho.
