.miltonduff 31yo - smws 72.36 - holy moly

44.6% abv, €225
single malt, non-chill filtered, natural colour

Nose: sweet, marshmallows, vanilla, fruit, kiwi, cactus fruit, passion fruit, galia melon, a hint of new leather
Palate: sweet, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar, fruity, kiwi, cactus fruit, spicy, black pepper, a hint of allspice
Finish: medium long, sweet, fruity, melon, kiwi, cactus fruit
Mark: +++/++

I am not really familiar with Miltonduff, and am not really sure this is an average note of the brand. Time to investigate more, since she is strange, but nice...

More info: distilled on 03/11/1981, matured in a refill ex-Bourbon hogshead for 31 years before it was filled into only 51 bottles in 2014.
