Nose: salted butter, 'dark', dried fruit, stone-fruit, prunes, apricots, raisins
Palate: sweet, dark stone-fruits, plums,
Finish: dry, medium long, sweet, raisins
Mark: +++/++
Conclusion: Stuff, with things.
More info: It is not stated on the bottle, but I would be very surprised if this - rather dark looking, uncoloured whisky has not matured on an ex-Sherry butt. Also 907 bottles is quite a lot for a smaller sized cask.
Distilled on 30-10-2000, matured in cask #435, bottled on 24-08-2011 into bottle #400 of 907
