A blend of Triple distilled Irish malt whiskey, pot still whiskey and grain whiskey, has been hiding behind door number nine of the Drinks by the Dram Whisky Advent Calendar 2015.

40% abv, €60, Irish blend

Nose: sweet, vanilla, honey, maize, spicy, sage, nutmeg, floral, honeycomb, heather

Palate: sweet, honey, spicy, sage, floral, heather, white pepper, fruit, red fruit, berries, cranberries

Finish: medium long, dry, dried fruit, citrus, lemon peel
Mark: +++++ 

Conclusion: Not a bad dram at all, but she is not going to be a favourite any time soon...
