.highland park - 10yo

A 10yo Highland Park, in half the bottle we are used to. Content wise, it is also only half the whisky I expected it to be.

40% abv, €25 (per 35cl), single malt

Nose: sweet, vanilla, apples, red fruit, berries, strawberries, liquorice-root
Palate: sweet, vanilla, red fruit, berries, creamy, herbal, bay leaves, slightly drying
Finish: sweet, herbal, bay leaves, a slight bitter, marmalade, medium dry, old fashioned liquorice, buttery mouthfeel, not very long
Mark: +++++

Conclusion: quite alright, and there are not many things I don’t really like here, but there are as little things I really like about it.
