Nose: sweet, vanilla, fruit, apples, floral, apple-blossom
Palate: sweet, firm, vanilla, dry, red fruit, berries, strawberries, raspberries
Finish: gentle at first, later more firm and spicy, milk chocolate, strawberries
Mark: +++/++
Conclusion: Not bad, a nice change from the fruity neighbours in the Speyside region. She can have a splash of water which opens her up quite a bit. A good introduction malt from Glen Garioch.
More info: She has matured in both ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks, where I suspect the majority to have been ex-Bourbon.
