56% abv, €50, single malt, non-chill filtered, natural colour

Nose: rough, sweet, vanilla, smoke (very light), herbal, mint, menthol, anise, citrus peel, marmalade, rubber bands, balsamic vinegar, yoghurt
Palate: sour grapes, sweet, vanilla, herbal, anise, fresh, smoke, DRY, liquorish
Finish: floral, herbal, sweet, dry, tannins, citrus peel, marmalade, smoke, pencil shavings without the core, wood chips
Mark: ++/+++

Conclusion: not my cup of tea, but not bad either. It is not really there yet, and I am still a bit divided what side it will turn to. This is what I expected from Amrut when I first tasted that.

More info: Fourth whisky in the #FrenchWhiskyTT French Whisky Twitter Tasting organised by Franck Debernardi. This has matured for only 18 months in ex-Condrieu casks.
