56,3% abv, €70,55, single malt, non-chill filtered, natural colour, single cask cask strength

Nose: vanilla, sweet, sugarcane, fruit, apples, sultanas, green bananas, citrus, floral, roses, talc powder, cereals, metal
Palate: sweet, honey, vanilla, slight bitter, spicy, white pepper, floral, roses, fruit, eat-ripe pears, cactus
Finish: medium long, sweet, vanilla, oak, slight metal finish otherwise: see palate
Mark: +++/++

Conclusion: Quite nice. A real whisky that would hold up good in a Scottish lineup. Has to breath a little to get to that point.

More info: Third whisky in the #FrenchWhiskyTT French Whisky Twitter Tasting organised by Franck Debernardi. Matured in an ex-Bourbon cask for 4years then in ex-Oloroso Sherry cask for seven years. Bottle #108 of 728 bottles. The 2013 edition will be slightly more expensive at around €80,-.
