.loch lomond - nas

40% abv, €20, single malt, chill filtered, caramel E150a added

Nose: sweet, toffee, fruit, red apples, berries, vanilla, nuts
Palate: spicy, white pepper, sweet, vanilla, caramel, melting sugar
Finish: short, sweet, spicy, with a huge bitter closing ceremony
Score: +++++

Conclusion: Honestly, it surprised me. The nose is nice, with lots of fruit and sweet notes, the palate is fine with a nice spice but (waaaaay too) sweet taste, but at the finish it feels like someone is rubbing earwax all over your gums. The price is fine though, and it might do just fine with an ice cube or as a mixer.
