40% abv, €50, blend

Nose: sweet, honey, a whiff of smoke, fruit, apples, pears, spicy, cinnamon, cumin
Palate: sweet, honey, caramelized apples, fruit, apples, spicy, cinnamon, a touch on cumin
Finish: medium long, sweet, honey, spicy, cumin, cinnamon
Mark: +++++ 

Conclusion: Much better as her 12yo sibling, not something to run to the store immediately after you have emptied another bottle.

On our trip to Speyside is 2014, we landed for a couple of hours at the rather pretty World of Dewars in Aberfeldy, at the distillery with the same name. We had a tour and a tasting, and because I was driving, they agreed for me to sample some of the drams they poured.
