55% abv, €55, single malt
Nose: fresh, fruity, green apples, apple syrup, with a splash of water, sweet dry white wine
Palate: gentle, grapes, apricots, apple syrup,
Finish: gentle, banana, short
Mark: +++++
Conclusion: lovely and - despite the high abv, very gentle whisky that can handle some water. Surprisingly, the high abv returns after adding water. Certainly not a daily dram, but worth the money to have a bottle available.
