.arran - 18yo - old particular

From the lovely Isle of Arran distillery, cared for and matured in a dark corner of Douglas Laing's warehouse for eighteen long years, a sweet, very sweet dram. One to get to know, perhaps..?

48.8% abv, €100, single malt, non-chill filtered, natural colour

Nose: sweet, vanilla, fruity, green apples, pears, sweet melons

Palate: sweet, honey, cotton candy, fudge

Finish: sweet, honey, liquorice, a hint (and really just a hint) of glue, medium long
Mark: ++/+++ 

Conclusion: I am missing something. She is sweet, very sweet, and for me, there is not much more to discover.
