Nose: bourbon-esque from the new american oak, slight woody, sweet, vanilla, fruit, mangos, citrus, grapefruit, nuts, almonds, floral, daisies
Palate: slightly dry, sweet, vanilla, honey, honeycomb, creamy, butterscotch, fruit, mangos, citrus, orange, spicy, star anise
Finish: sweet, honey, woody, slight dry, medium long, rich

Conclusion: The new oak gives it that Bourbon smell, but it is something completely different. She is smooth, yet a little rough on the edges; a kitten with claws. Do not expect a beefy-peaty dram, as you might think when you have a first look at the label.
More info: A limited release of 6324 bottles worldwide, "designed as a shot with beer or sipped neat with chilled water". About 50% single malts from the towns of Alness (Teaninich) and Longmorn (likely Glen Elgin and Linkwood - correct me if I am wrong), blended together with about 50% of grains from Fife (Cameron Bridge).
