Nose: wood-chips, rye, spicy, cinnamon, a hint of cloves, fruit, cherries, pear, dried fruits, raisins, plums, floral, buttercups
Palate: sweet, honeycomb, fruits, pears, cherries, dried fruits, raisins, spicy, cinnamon, white pepper, floral, buttercups, heather
Finish: long, sweet, dried fruits, citrus, orange-peel
Mark: ++++/+

Conclusion: With all the dried fruits, I had expected a dry palate and finish, but thankfully this stayed away and she decided to finish mildly sweet, with a long lasting enjoyable aftermath. I used this whiskey in my first ever presentation about Irish whiskey, where I only could serve one whiskey.
