Nose: sweet, fruit, soft ripe apples, pears, raisins, fresh grind coffee, wood, raisins, plums, wood polish, grass, salty, briny, cinnamon, apple pie
Palate: sweet, dark honey, apple-syrup, fresh fruit, soft apples, pears, wood, chocolate, nuts, almonds, hazelnuts
Finish: long, first a bit spicy, gets down smooth, sweet and dry
Mark: ++++/+
Conclusion: at first I found it a bit boring, but after it opened up a bit: wow... This is clearly a malt that needs some time to breath outside of the bottle.
