.high west double rye

46% abv, €50, straight rye

Nose: bathing soap, eucalyptus, herbs, junipers berries, soap, rosemary, eucalyptus, burned orange zest, oranges, agave, pencil shavings
Palate: spicy, soap, rosemary, butter, white pepper, flat, butter
Finish: soap, short, rosemary
Mark: +/++++

Conclusion: my first reaction was "ugh". The nose gets a little better with water, but flattens on the palate. /me no likey. The mark is mainly based on the experience with water on the nose and palate, the finish stays a bit meh.
